These rules apply everywhere WesterosLive is — in game and in our Discord.

1) Chat & Conduct

• No spam — repeated deaths or messages, town/nation relation spam, or letter/number spam.
• No personal insults, harassment, or bullying, including encouraging self-harm.
• No hate speech, slurs, malicious threats, or severe violence, gore, or abuse.
• No excessive political, heated, off-topic, or toxic discussion, and no excessive swearing.
• No praising controversial regimes.
• No impersonating staff or players for personal benefit.
• No helping or tricking others into breaking rules.
• English only in general chat; local, nation, and town chat, plus books and signs, may be any language (breaking a rule in another language still counts).
• No predatory behavior toward minors.

2) Advertisement, Services & Links

• No advertising other servers or sites.
• No real-money trading for in-game items or services.
• No unrelated links; malicious ones (IP loggers, sexual content, etc.) are treated far more seriously.

3) Lag Machines, Farms & Art

• No heavy or laggy redstone, lag machines, slime-block flying machines, or 0-tick farms.
• Banned farms: piglin, enderman, iron golem, and pillager.
• Large free-floating structures in the sky will be removed — a build should connect to the ground, or to something that does.

4) Cheating & Exploitation

• No cheat clients, macros, x-ray/cave-finding, or other unfair-advantage mods.
• No exploiting bugs for gain (duping, combat logging, etc.).

Fine to use: performance mods (Sodium, Iris, OptiFine), client launchers (Lunar, Badlion, Feather), minimaps, cosmetic packs and Litematica. An allowed launcher doesn't make its rule-breaking features allowed — those still count against you. Schematica is not allowed.

5) Alts, Names & Skins

• No alts to bypass a punishment.
• No raiding or filling the server with bots.
• Town, nation, and item names should sound like they belong where they sit. Invented houses and place names are welcome, as long as they'd pass for that part of the map — nothing egregious, like a King's Landing in the North.
• Names can't copy or closely resemble an existing town or nation; non-compliant names get renamed to their location.
• Usernames, titles, nicknames, and skins must follow all server rules — no hate speech, sexual content, or other toxic material.

6) Claims & Griefing

• Don't block other towns with claims, or found a town just to block one (including long or uneven claim "arms"). Violating claims are removed with no refund.
• Claim spacing without a border agreement: homeblocks, claims and outposts all need 5+ chunks from another town.
• No griefing (building, destroying, lava/water, etc.) inside a town you don't own, including ruined towns.
• Taking is not griefing. Anything you leave reachable — mobs, crops, ores, beacons, conduits, loose valuables — is fair game, and staff won't recover it. Claim your land and set your plot permissions before you leave anything worth stealing.
• Griefing unclaimed structures is fine if away from claims and the terrain stays mostly intact; no large-scale terraforming outside claims.
• No griefing near claims, and no walkways or railways (including nether highways) connecting one claim to another.

7) Toxic Grind & Conquer

There is no war of conquest here — WesterosLive runs on events and stories. Hounding players, provoking towns into conflict, hijacking someone's event, or being persistently toxic or disruptive will get you permanently banned.

Punishments escalate with each repeat, and appeals go through the support channel — staff have the full infraction table and your punishment history.
