These rules apply everywhere WesterosLive is, in the game and in our Discord.

1) Chat & Behaviour

• No spam of any kind. That covers repeated messages, dying over and over, town or nation relation spam, and walls of letters or numbers.
• No insults, bullying or harassment of any kind, including telling someone to hurt themselves.
• No hate speech, slurs or serious threats, and no gore or extreme violence.
• Keep politics, heated arguments and off-topic talk out of chat, and do not swear constantly.
• Do not praise real-world dictators or their governments.
• Do not pretend to be staff or another player.
• Do not help or trick anyone into breaking a rule.
• General chat is English only. Local, nation and town chat may be in any language, and so may books and signs. Breaking a rule in another language still counts.
• No sexual or predatory behaviour toward children.

2) Ads, Services & Links

• Do not advertise other servers or websites.
• Do not buy or sell game items or services for real money.
• Do not post links that have nothing to do with the server. Harmful ones are treated far more seriously, including IP loggers and sexual content.

3) Lag Machines, Farms & Art

• No laggy redstone, lag machines, slime-block flying machines or 0-tick farms.
• These farms are banned: piglin, enderman, iron golem and pillager.

4) Cheating & Bugs

• No cheat clients, macros, x-ray or cave-finding mods, or anything else that gives you an unfair advantage.
• Do not use bugs to your advantage, including duping and combat logging.

These are fine: performance mods (Sodium, Iris, OptiFine), launchers (Lunar, Badlion, Feather), minimaps, cosmetic packs and Litematica. An allowed launcher does not make every feature inside it allowed, and using one that breaks a rule still counts against you. Schematica is not allowed.

5) Alts, Names & Skins

• Do not use a second account to escape a punishment.
• Do not raid the server or flood it with bots.
• Town, nation and house names should suit the part of the map they sit in. Invented houses and place names are welcome, as long as they would pass for that region. A King's Landing in the North would not.
• Your username, titles, nicknames and skin must follow every rule on this page, which rules out hate speech, sexual content and anything else toxic.

6) Claims & Griefing

• Do not use claims to box in another town, and do not found a town purely to block one. Long, thin claim "arms" count as well.
• Without a border agreement, keep 5 chunks between your land and any other town. That applies to homeblocks, claims and outposts alike.
• Do not grief a town that is not yours, whether that means building, breaking blocks or pouring lava and water. Ruined towns count too.
• Taking things is not griefing. Anything you leave within reach can be taken by anyone, and staff will not recover it. That includes mobs, crops, ores and loose valuables. Claim your land and set your plot permissions before you leave anything worth stealing.
• Digging in the wild is still allowed, but do not reshape the land on a large scale outside claims. You may break up an old unclaimed building if it sits well away from any claim. Leave the ground around it mostly as you found it.
• Do not grief near a claim, and do not build walkways or railways from one claim to another. Nether highways count as well.

7) Toxic Play & War

Conquest warfare does not exist on this server. WesterosLive runs on events and stories instead, and any of the following will get you permanently banned:

• Hounding or chasing other players.
• Provoking towns into conflict.
• Hijacking someone else's event.
• Being persistently toxic or disruptive.

Punishments get heavier with each repeat. If you think one is wrong, ask in the support channel: staff can see the full rule table and your whole punishment history.
